Property Description

Lake Mendota Drive, with beach access one block from the front door. Picnic Point is a 15 minute walk, and campus and UW Hospital are a 10-minute bike ride. This bungalow was renovated in 2009, then updated in 2017 with a new kitchen, roof, and furnace, so the big-ticket items are already done. Cathedral ceilings rise to 12+ feet over an open living and dining area, and hardwood floors run through the main level. The kitchen has custom cabinets, built-ins, and quartz counter tops. The bathroom is fully tiled. Downstairs, a basement with sump pump holds a rec. room, laundry area, and second toilet. Out back, a deck overlooks established planting beds, and a storage shed handles bikes and garden tools. Swim in the morning, bike to campus, and walk Picnic Point after dinner, all without starting the car.
